We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Coordinator - Special Buildings, Network

Description

  • Provide technical expertise in the design and construction of assigned building projects.
  • Prepare detailed project briefs and technical specifications from user department requirements.
  • Review and validate project designs, technical documentation, and contract bid documents to ensure compliance with MTNN standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Advise user departments on the translation of business needs into project briefs 
  • Guide the development of buildable, compliant designs
  • Utilize project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, BIM tools) for scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
  • Oversee document management of digital versions of drawings, models, and revisions for accuracy and version control.
  • Coordinate development of project designs, documentation, and approvals.
  • Conduct pre construction workshops and facilitate understanding of final design drawings for project teams.
  • Initiate and control site-related processes, workflows, and procedures.
  • Monitor construction progress through regular site inspections, ensuring quality, schedule, and cost adherence.
  • Ensure strict compliance with MTNN building, environmental, and safety policies.
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly project reports, as well as ad hoc updates as required.
  • Coordinate acceptance, handover, and close-out processes, ensuring all deliverables, documentation, and defects are resolved.

Education

  • First degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related discipline 
  • Registration with at least one construction industry professional body such as ARCON, COREN, NIQS, NIOB
  • PMP certification
  • Fluent in English 

Experience

3-7 years’ experience which includes

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an area of specialization; with experience in construction project management
  • Experience working in a medium organization.
